Abstract

also known as Online Recruitment is using technology as a practice along with the web-based resources
in hiring job seekers by attracting, assessing and interviewing them. Electronic recruitment turns out to
be the latest trend to be practiced by the employers. The cost effective usage of E-Recruitment makes it
favorable among HR personnel as well as Job Seekers. This study focuses on the behavior and
perception of the job seekers over E-recruitment Technology adoption. The Technology Acceptance
Model (TAM) is considered for the study. ), Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU),
Satisfaction (S), Self Efficacy (SE) and Perceived Risk (PR) are the independent variables with
Behavioral Intention (BI) as the dependent variable. Snowball sampling technique is adopted with a
sample size of 146. The data was analyzed using the SPSS including the tools like Chi Square,
Regression and testing the Cronbach’s Alpha for reliability. The study showed that Perceived Risk (PR)
had less significance with Behavioral Intention when compared to other Independent variables.
