Abstract

Forest Fire is one of the major disasters for the environment on earth. Usages and
implementation of sensors may be helpful to prevent this forest fire disaster. Therefore, various
qualitative sensors have been introduced and considered in this paper. How this fire may have occurred
and what are the reasons behind occurring of forest fire have also been discussed in this paper. In this
paper, we have considered two cases: normal condition and during the forest fire condition. In the
normal condition, there is no issue but in the forest fire condition, through the literature survey, we came
to know that forest fire could lead to the loss of flora and fauna, therefore, we have proposed a model
that will prevent fire. Further, in the proposed model, we use the GSM along with GPS to provide an
accurate location of the incident and help the local authorities to control the forest fire and to minimize
the destruction caused by it.
