Abstract

The researcher aims to evaluate and the effectiveness of using coal-hauling travel time.
This study will describe the entire cycle time used by coal hauling, including the evaluation of time
wastage during the trip. The use of methods is an observation and primary survey using GPS
Garmin, GPS tracker, Smart GPS tracker system software, KML (Keyhole Markup Language), and
Google earth pro. The results showed that this optimization study could save travel time by 15.57% -
48.61% of the existing travel time with five applicable scenarios. The actual transport cycle has an
average of two cycles, so by optimizing the travel time, it can increase by four travel cycles.
