Social Philosophy of Ethnic groups of Dehing Patkai Region : An Analysis

Abstract

Dehing Patkai Region is an Important and historical place of  Tinsukia district of Assam in North East India. It is situated at Margherita Sub-Division of North East India.There are more than a dozen of different ethnic Communities living in the area including the indigenious Assamese community. The traditional  and cultural transaction of the people of Dehing Patkai Region has changed the human mind automatically into  love and  brotherhood and reconcile all the aspects of humanities.Therefore, all the communities  help each other and enhance the humanity to contribute not only in the socio-cultural development but also in enriching   the Dehing Patkai Region.

As a matter of  fact, all the communities particularly Tai  Phake, khamyang, khamti, Singpho , Nocte, Ahom, Kaibarta, Moran and Motok, Burmese and also Nepali people live together and share their socio-cultural and humane behaviour.The paper is  trying to focus humanity and moral side of these ethenic people through education and culture without any conflict.
