Abstract

The Flat slab framework is generally utilized in development. It licenses adaptability in engineering, all the clearer space, low structure stature, simpler formwork, and shorter development time. In any case, it’s more adaptable than customary solid structures as bars are absent. They are getting more defenseless against tremors. The objective of this paper is to investigate the behavior of G+8 structure with flat slab in 4 different cases as: (I) flat slab structure without drop (II) Flat slab structure with column drop (III) flat slab structure with shear wall (IV) Flat slab structure with column drop and shear wall together. The analysis is helped out through reaction range technique, by utilizing ETABS software. The conduct of the level piece is explored as far as storey displacements, storey drifts, story shears and lateral loads in 4 cases. From these parameters we can conclude that the flat slab structure with shear wall and column drop is more resistant to earthquake loads.
