Abstract

In the current work, the polystyrene/titanium dioxide (PS/TiO2) nanomaterials have been successfully
prepared and investigated through using the tetrahydrofuran (THF) at various concentrations of hydrogen
peroxide (H2O2). The influences of concentration of H2O2 on structure and bandgap have been explored.
The obvious directory of structural variation in the pure anatase-TiO2 nanomaterials phase structures has
been studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The change in energy bandgap shows in the structure; it is also
accountable for illustrating the variation in the concentration of H2O2 (3.29, 3.26, and 3.24 eV). The
Raman spectroscopy illustrates the eccentric behavior for band expanding and shifting of Raman bands
with changing the crystallite size of the nanomaterials.
