Abstract

Consumer electronics market in India is growing due to rising income levels and changing
needs of the consumers. India accounts for 3.5% of global electronic market which is about $1.8 trillion.
Consumer electronics industry in India is expected to grow to US$400billion by 2022. Demand for
consumer electronics is high from households due to changing lifestyles and easier access to credit. The
online sales are is growing by 25% in volume terms and 13% in volume share. Companies should offer
high discounts to attract consumers and after sales service should be provided to increase the sales.
