Comparative Study on Labor Standards of " the Belt and Road" Maritime Countries Based on TOPSIS Model

Abstract

The "21st century maritime Silk Road" is the strategic line of "the Belt and Road initiative", and the maritime countries along the "the Belt and Road" are the main body of development cooperation. Labor standard is an important part of the labor market system in various countries, and it is also the boundary of transnational enterprise management. It has a direct impact on enterprise management and engineering construction. There are great differences in the labor standards between the maritime countries along "the Belt and Road". It shows the characteristics of country and region in terms of minimum age of employment, working hours, rest and vacations and minimum wage standard. Through the comprehensive evaluation of TOPSIS model, it can be concluded that the maritime countries along "the Belt and Road" are suitable for the relative order of management and construction of transnational enterprises in terms of labor standards. The results show that the maritime countries in Southeast Asia and South Asia are more advantageous to multinational enterprises in terms of labor standards, while the Mediterranean and Persian Gulf coastal countries have stricter labor standards and need higher costs in terms of enterprise management and
