Performance of Regional People’s Representative Assembly: Implementation of Government Supervision Function in Bone Regency

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the government oversight function in Bone Regency. This type of research is a mixed methodology. The approach used in this research is descriptive. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and questionnaires. Data analysis was performed by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the performance of the Regional Representative Council of Bone Regency in the 2014-2019 membership period in the implementation of the supervisory function showed quite good performance. Good communication and cooperation with the local government is very intense. Summons to the local government for information are often made. Investigation and supervision are carried out through work visits and recesses. Supervisory activities carried out by the Regional People's Representative Council on the running of the government by proactively conducting field visits and the Regional People's Representative Council has carried out its supervisory function well, however in the follow-upt other esults of the supervision, the Regional People's Representative Counci lassesses that the follow-up respondents of the Regional Government are considered very weak or less attention.
