IOT BASED REAL–TIME LOCATING SYSTEM FOR ASSET MANEGEMENT USING ACTIVE RFID

Abstract

The vision of IoT calls for connectivity not only to consumer electronics and home applications, but also to small battery powered devices which cannot be recharged. The real-time locating system using radio frequency identification which can automatically track or identify the location of human or object within indoor. In this paper, we proposed newly RTLS combination by using active RFID for IoT i.e., iLocate which locates the human distance. To attainment the fine-grained localization accuracy, iLocate introduced the concept of virtual reference tags. To support large scale RFID networks, iLocate grip the Ubidots cloud system, implementing the hardware by using RFID chips, so that active tag we communicate with readers in free space.
