Study on Optimal and Fast Drilling Technology in Jihua 2 Block of Huabei Oilfield

Abstract

Bit hydraulic horsepower is an important index for measuring hydraulic parameters of drill
bits. It is also an important research area under the subject of drilling speed increase.Introducing
parameter ? to evaluate the influence of various factors on the bit hydraulic horsepower, and
quantitatively analyze the influence of various factors on the bit hydraulic horsepower in different
ranges. This research method can find the main influencing factors, and focus on the main factors. It
can find the shortcut to optimize the hydraulic parameters of the bit, and has guiding significance for
the study of drilling speed increasing, and also points out the direction for the field engineers to
select the hydraulic parameters. Through the field experiment?this analysis method is applicable to
Jihua 2 block of Huabei Oilfield. This method has achieved good results in the field application of 18
wells. The maximum average rate of penetration?ROP?is 92m / h.
