Abstract

This paper is focused on reviewing and documenting published BYOD-related documents based
on the data collected from the Scopus database. A total of 383 records are being collected and examined as of
20th April 2020. This article uses standard bibliometric metrics to report the document and source types, year
of publications, the language of documents, subject area, most active source title, keyword analysis, the
geographical distribution of publications, authorship, text analysis, most influential institutions, and citation
analysis. The findings indicate a higher literature growth rate on BYOD from 2013 through 2015. However,
the number from 2016 till 2019 is slightly lower. There are various reports on BYOD involving the
collaboration of multi-writers, written in different languages, by a total of 158 writers from 55 countries and
160 institutions.
