Abstract

—Transparent conductive oxides have been developed as a potential replacement for the
conventional silicon and organic semiconductors in the field of microelectronics. Transparency property,
good carrier mobility and large area uniformity makes them appropriate for the applications like transparent
liquid crystal displays, light emitting diodes, sensors and X-ray detectors. The optical transparency property
in solution processed thin films leads aninnovative horizon meant to low-cost transparent electronic circuits
along with devices. Here we report a method to develop better performance, transparent and steady metal
oxide semiconductor thin films by a technique called sol-gel spin coating. To analyze the optimum
annealing temperature of spin coated thin films, the thermo-gravimetric analysis is performed. Structural and
optical studies are analyzed from X-Ray diffraction and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy method.
