The Issue of Literary Heroism in Korean Literature

Abstract

This article discusses the issue of literary heroism in Korean literature.The literature of every
nation, its mirror, in which the literary hero plays an important role.In the literature of each period there
were heroes close to the hearts of the people, who fulfilled the age-old dream of the people.This is especially
true of Korean literature, with the images of Tangun in early legends and Han Kil Don, Chunhyan, Sim
Chhon, Nolbu, and Sa lady in medieval Korean stories rising to the level of literary heroes.
