A Study on Examination of Various Sources of Anxiety among Students

Abstract

Students now a days face lot of anxiety, stress and many such problems. They have great deal to achieve objectives particularly in study processes. Among students disorders related to anxiety is highly increasing. In order to overcome all these issues researcher make lot of researches, still now it is becoming tough to control anxiety among students. The present study has certain objectives to investigate effect of student’s attribute, gender, anxiety experience, physical health issues, and educational qualification on anxiety. The study also ascertains effect of student’s attribute, gender, anxiety experience, physical health issues, and educational qualification on Examination, Communication, Subjective Concepts, Academic performance, Presentation. The study critically examines the influence of on Examination, Communication, Subjective Concepts, Academic performance, Presentation on anxiety. Descriptive type of research design is adopted in this study. The study formulated structured standardised questionnaire to collect primary data. Data is collected from 134 students. Convenience sampling is used to collect data. Demographic profile is analysed using frequency and percentage analysis. And the data collected is analysed using Independent sample T test, Anova and Regression. There is good correlation among variables.  It is found that subjective concepts and presentation has not influenced the anxiety among students using regression analysis. The model is tested and deemed to be fit. It is concluded that students face lot of troubles due to unnecessary anxiety towards their education and physical health. This anxiety should be treated well to effectively accomplish the objectives among students.
