Social media touches its unique position throughout years. Thus social media marketing in the healthcare are at its pinnacle. It helps to collaborate with patients in real time. Nowadays, the treatments are based on the review and ratings of asocial media site. It acts as a catalyst to word of mouth marketing as well as internet marketing. It helps to promote the healthcare policy and track the personal progresses easily. It facilitates public to access beyond distances to educate and also create awareness in their minds. Social media emphasis greater visibility towards hospitals. Hospitals can easily understand patients experience through reviews, rat-ings and feedbacks which are obtained through social media. Even though, social media is an cost effective strategy, the analysis indicates that youngsters are highly influenced to the so-cial media marketing with respect to healthcare industry. This article mainly focuses on public perception towards hospitals through social media marketing.
