DEVELOPMENT OF KTM LUNANG SILAUT AS AN ECOLOGICAL CITY AND ITS EFFECT ON STAKEHOLDER SATISFACTION

Abstract

Objective of our research was to determine the effect of ecological carrying capacity on the development of KTM Lunang Silaut and on stakeholder satisfaction. It was revealed that stakeholders were also mostly satisfied with the quality of service of Independent Integrated City (KTM) Lunang Silaut, It  was established to creat the opening of opportunities for socio-economic growth of transmigrant regions and enabling commercial centres that attract investors as an effort to enhance transmigrant economic activities for the surrounding community. The study involved 200 respondents who were asked to answer a questionnaire containing 61 statements. The sampling of the KTM Lunang Silaut ecological carrying capacity was 24 items, the KTM development questionnaire numbered 28 items, and the KTM Lunang Silaut stakeholders satisfaction questionnaire amounted to 9 items. Data analysis using AMOS path analysis with a research error rate set at 5%.The results of the study revealed that empirically, the effect of ecological carrying capacity on urban development and stakeholder satisfaction could be confirmed. It can be said that KTM Lunang Silaut has become a sustainable and integrated independent city.
