Abstract

— Now a day’s lots of sport bikes are used to travel by the peoples. The sport bikes are having a
disc brake control the vehicle. Because of the disc brake is more efficient than drum brake system. During
the braking process, brake pads pressure and temperature frequently on the disc wheel. In this research, the
bajaj pulsar 220F bike disc brake is design and thermal analysis with various materials. Here, SS material
and CI material are used to analysis the disc brake. The disc brake model is created by using the
SOLIDWORKS software. The analysis is made by the ANSYS workbench software. Finally, the results of
the both material is compared with each other.
