Abstract

— In this paper, we have introduced an efficient wavelet based spectral algorithm for immobilized
enzymes with nonlinear Michaelis-Menten kinetics model. The enzymatic reaction-diffusion model is based
on reaction-diffusion equations containing non-linear terms related to Michaelis–Menten kinetics. To the
best of our knowledge until there is no rigorous Legendre wavelet based spectral algorithm has been
addressed for the above model. The proposed Legendre wavelet based analytical solutions are validated with
the numerical simulation results which are found to be in good agreement.
