Abstract

An organisation’s prosperity or bankruptcy is majorly decided by safety culture followed. An association with deprived practices of safety culture (SC) may distinguish the rundown of restorative activities, and finds the conceivable direction to develop its culture, giving importance to safety. In this manner, this study targets to examine the impression of workers regarding safety culture (SC) in an assembling industry. The study has also investigated the effect of safety culture on organisational commitment of employees. The three dimensions of commitment reflected in the study are continuance commitment, normative commitment and affective commitment. The sample size used in this study is 80. The outcome shows that, employees who have positive perception regarding safety culture experiences high level of commitment towards the organisation.
