Development of Pomegranate Diseases Databases and its Compatibility with Raspberry Pi

Abstract

—A database plays a crucial role in almost all technologies which are intended to provide a solution
for the betterment of society. It is the collection of all the crucial data using which decisions are made. In
that regard, developing Pomegranate disease database plays a crucial role in developing a technology based
Pomegranate disease detection system. The database developed are categorized into two types. An early
stage disease detection database and a later stage disease detection database. Both the databases are
developed under MATLAB and OpenCV computer platforms. The compatibility of these two platforms with
Raspberry Pi processor for further analysis is tested and a decision is made to choose which platform is
suitable for further development of Pomegranate disease detection system
