Influence of Environmental Knowledge towards Pro-environmental Behaviors

Abstract

The Environmental Knowledge of Family Welfare Vocational Education Study Program, implementing the behavior, value, and awareness towards the environment motivates individuals to be concerned about the welfare and pro-environmental behaviors. This research employed descriptive qualitative method with the independent variable of behavior and value and the dependent variable of pro-environmental behaviors. The samples were taken from 300 students of Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The result of this research showed a significant influence on behavior towards pro-environmental behaviors, a significant influence on value towards pro-environmental behaviors, and a significant influence on both behavior and value towards pro-environmental behaviors.
