Abstract

- In this article, we investigate the properties of the solution of self-similar equations for the Cauchy problem for a degenerate parabolic equation in non-divergent form with absorption and variable density, and consider some results of studying the heat conduction equation with absorption. One of the important and topical areas of theoretical and mathematical physics is the study of nonlinear effects in various physical and chemical phenomena and processes. In the work analyzing the exact solution, the following properties of the solutions were established: the inertial effect of the finite speed of propagation of thermal disturbances, the spatial localization of heat and the effect of the finite time localization of the solution.
