Abstract

The PKH program is one of the government programs that aims to reduce urban and rural poverty, one of which is in
Singa Geweh Village, Sanggata Selatan District. Singa Geweh Urban Village is an urban area with a relatively high
poverty rate and many people scramble and defend as PKH recipients, from this problem it is necessary to examine how
the PKH Recipient behavior. This research was prepared using a qualitative approach as an effort to analyze social life by
describing the social world from an individual's perspective, so this research resulted in the behavior of PKH recipients
who felt dependent on PKH assistance and the desire to get help for Non PKH communities because it was based on
thought which is trensedent as it is assumed by rizki and also the assumption that it is the right for every citizen, besides it
is consumptive for PKH recipients which are triggered by hedonism by using PKH assistance not on its function, this
thinking also creates impulsive behavior for PKH receipts, PKH recipient behavior is due to the level of education low,
PKH recipient household heads work odd jobs, and urban poor people think pragmatically. To optimize PKH
